It is my honor and pleasure to work with Tony creating the home of his dreams with all the details custom designed by him. This project is special in the fact that it is a continuation of the journey Tony started 25 years ago when he first built the home.
The details originally designed for the home by Tony were actually custom cut and installed by him. With the added square footage, this time around we are continuing to implement the original designs and adding more custom features and embellishments for the theme of each room, including custom vintage stained glass windows. The guest bedroom was converted into a larger guest bedroom with a second home theater added feature. The screen is hidden in the beam above the windows and the projector is hidden behind another beam in the middle of the room above where I am standing in the picture.
Here are three pictures taken during the progress of the installation of the custom woodwork and stained glass.
This picture shows the custom door to the exterior plus the details of how the new cabinetry ties into and embellishes the existing room. Each beam was custom designed, hand-hewn and sandblasted to create the vintage appearance.
The new railing on the master bedroom deck will be a replica of what was originally there all custom designed with new wood that after we hand-hewn and sandblast, will instantly look vintage.
The interior addition includes a turret design with lots of custom features both inside and outside. The turret gives a historical castle-like feel to this vintage French Tudor design.Stay tuned for completed design photos.
