Right now we are finishing the footings so we can begin the new framing for the walls. After that we can run all of the new wiring and plumbing. We are on our way to dry walling after that. The demolition is completely done for the interior walls that are being removed and old windows that being replaced and the siding that will later become stucco.
Once we get the dry wall hung and textured, we are just past the 50% completion mark and then all the fun stuff starts because we begin painting and installing countertops, cabinets, flooring and all of the finish work. The client can finally see what the end results will look like with their own eyes.
This shot shows new structural wood being added to the deck framing.
This is a shot of the rear of the house where the project started, which is the two ocean view decks that are being repaired and restored with a new glass railing design.
This is a shot of the underside of the house where we had to add a new wall on top of new concrete footing to hold up the entire rear of the house because the original wall was in the wrong spot.
